  1. Good afternoon

I act on behalf of the owner of 7 Trueman Court in Launceston which is currently tenanted by a hearing impaired tenant. I have been requested to search a smoke alarm which the tenant is able to be alerted should there be smoke detected.

Can you please advise if TasDeaf provide such a system.

    Kind regards

You should direct your inquiry to TasDeaf and find out if Tasmania has a fire alarm scheme which the tenant may be eligible to obtain. Alternatively, if the tenant are NDIS participants, the tenant can consider applying for such system. However, the process may take a while and anything can happen in the duration of the process.
